Jocelyn Warner’s textile design practice explores the synergy between craft and technology. A unique interpretation of pattern and motifs that fully explore the dual aspects of analogue and digital design. Training at Camberwell School of Arts & Crafts and a Masters at Central Saint Martins laid the foundation for a design practice that retains the essence of craft with modern day production. Over the years Jocelyn has developed close working relationships with specialist manufacturers, creating designs with strong creative content and unique identities.
Many of her designs have remained long time favourites, iconic motifs have been selected by fashion trend forecasters, museum archives, featured in TV and film and won design awards. Jocelyn’s design consultancy works by commission and licensing agreements. Having worked for international fashion and home interior clients, as well as her own collections being globally represented by leading distributers and luxury retail establishments.
“wallpaper is well and truly beautiful again. This is partly due to the likes of wallpaper designer Jocelyn Warner, whose confident but elegant work bridges the gap between neo-baroque and modernism. Warner’s nature inspired designs have echoes of British Modernism, nodding to Lucienne Day while looking utterly contemporary.”
